Upstream and Brawn GP Formula 1 Team
Upstream, a specialist mobile marketing company and the Brawn GP Formula 1 team entered into a unique partnership, together launching the first F1 racing game for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch where players were also racing for the chance to win a Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster. 2 Halves introduced the parties and brokered this mobile partnership.
Brawn GP Racing players were able to drive the Brawn Mercedes car on four exciting international circuits inspired by the most famous and challenging elements in the world racing circuit, such as Road America’s Carousel, Monza’s Parabolica, Silverstone’s Copse and Monaco’s hairpin.
The game received extremely positive reviews for being highly innovative & entertaining and was very successful in emotionally engaging consumers with the brand.
